Traditional full day trainings are usually not the most efficient way to deliver the necessary knowledge as all the topics can't be relevant to all the participants. Also, one's learning capability is limited, so part of the training would go to with a focus on one topic. Training days usually include multiple of these short trainings. Thus everyone can select the relevant trainings for them and spend their day efficiently.
Trainings offered by Loistaa Consulting differ from most of the other suppliers in that the trainer's primary job is in demanding finance position where he utilizes Excel. Thus the training is very practical as one user instructs other users with an easy to understand language. Vesa competed in the finals of the Finnish Championship of Excel competition in 2016 so he definitely has the knowledge in Excel to train others. Vesa also acts as an internal Excel trainer in Carlsberg. Training participants have graded Vesa with 9,4 on a grade from 1 to 10 and he has a NPS (Net Promoter Score) of 81 % (81 % promoters, 0 % demoters).
All the trainings are trained by Vesa Tuomainen. Vesa is a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and has 7 years of experience from demanding finance positions where he has always had Excel as his primary tool. He has spent more than 10 000 hours with Excel and thus created a vast knowledge of different functionalities in Excel. Nowadays, Vesa's favorite functionality in Excel is Power Query, which makes it possible to automate all repetitive tasks and makes macros redundant.
